Chipping away at those darn questions

Hello all,

A short one today since I am still working on Chapter 1.1’s questions.

Started at Question 15, which deals with graphing the equation you are given. In this case, the equations could be in different forms. The first few, the answers are pretty much given, just had to graph it (Still using Desmos).

Some questions featured constants, which means there is no slope, when

\(y = b\)

and gives you are horizontal line. For example:

The other equation gives an undefined slope when

\(x = a\)

which gives you a vertical line. For example:

Couple of them were in the general linear equation form, which means you just rearrange the equation to solve for y.

\(\begin{equation} \begin{aligned} ax + by &= c \\ ax - ax + by &= c -ax \\ (by) \div b &= (c-ax) \div b \\ y &= \frac{c - ax}{b} \\ y &= - \frac{a}{b}x + \frac{c}{b} \end{aligned} \end{equation}\)

Now up to Question 30, which I’m trying to figure out if I have done the fraction stuff right.
